We were told it was a "touristy " place. That's ok, we are tourists. We started out at the bar with a complimentary oyster with our beer. Delicious! When we got seated, I had to have another half dozen oysters, they were that good. We also had the mixed grill, blackened that was really good. Good service and a fun place for lunch.
Found out about this place from our friendly Uber driver! It has a fun, beachy vibe, and while dinnertime was crowded, we were seated quickly. I had the mixed grill, with scallops, shrimp and grouper (side of rice pilaf and sugar snap peas) and it was delicious. Husband had grilled shrimp and highly recommends. A statue of Pete is on the porch - get a picture!

Great location with awesome views and excellent menu. After spending the week down in Santa Rosa Beach this find was a nice break from the pretentious and pushy service culture at SRB. The prices and vibe was so much more what we like. The chowder was creamy like New England style but packed with large pieces of Grouper. The Grouper Bites were large and perfectly cooked. But by far the best item we shared was an order of Fried Oysters that were so tender and flavorful. Great experience all around at a very fair price.
Everything! Their fried grouper is fabulous, their shipwreck is my favorite drink. The worst part is the wait for a table and that speaks volumes about how good the food is!
Their oyster Rockefeller is probably the best I've had. And I've had it at 20 different restaurants. The grouper nuggets are pretty damn good too.
1-8-25 2:00 late lunch for 2 Grouper nuggets improved - not over cooked and dark brown plus dry....it was very good. Excellent improvement over earlier this week. French dip roast beef sandwich - Delicious Fish Chowder bowl - super thick and lumpy like old gravy. Not impressive. After 4 spoonfuls I sent order back it was not pleasing.....poor tasting.

A must visit if you are visiting Pensacola! A friend told us about this place so we had to give it a try...and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted immediately by both bartenders, Justin & Shasta who invited my husband and I to join them at the bar instead of waiting, which I'm glad we did because they made us feel very welcome and delivered top notch service. They knew everything from drinks to the food menu and were always right there to answer any questions. With so much to look at and see around the restaurant (plus live cams on their website) it's really a fun place to be!
